Busy Weekend

Whew. What a busy, busy weekend. It was jam packed with all kinds of fun, strange, interesting, pleasant, creative and wonderful things. Instant recap:

learned to make my cell phone identify music

learned my kids knew how to do that years ago (Mom, that was so yesterday...)

went to Homestead and watched the trains and got greens

made a beautiful advent wreath

got a gift of 5 humongous windows for the garage

went to a very fun party with some very fun people

hosted the first Maryland SoulCollage facilitator's gathering

opened a bank account with my business partner and made it official

colored a shower curtain with my kids who are not really kids anymore

had dinner at my parents and found out they are feeding their dog from a plate at the table, seriously, sitting at the table with them for dinner....and breakfast....

stood in a checkout line and had the strange experience of each person in front of me turning around one by one, realizing we were all friends

bought my first Christmas gift

wrote a third of my Christmas cards

heard some very unsettling news and decided it was time to finally let go

had a beautiful worship experience with soft Christmas music and the lighting of the second candle

figured out why Shirley Temple wanted to be on my Pleaser card

ate and drank WAY TOO much, sigh.

All in all, a very productive weekend. Ready for a rest now :)
